Special Topics in Accelerator Physics

PHY 689 is designated to prepare students for USPAS '"https://uspas.fnal.gov"" and CERN accelerator physics school "https://home.cern/tags/cern-accelerator-school" courses via reading relevant materials, solving problems and discussing relevant topics with the course instructor. Final grade and credit will be assigned by the PHY 689 instructors after student’s completion of the USPAS course and exams.

By design, this course can be taken multiple times for credit. Value will depend on the taken course. At USPAS: 2-week graduate level courses - 3 credits, 1-week course - 1 credit.
